The G Team is the Midwest's #1 Snowboard Team.  With several notable achievements, including several  X Games Wins, an Olympic medal and countless National titles, the G  Team has risen to the top as one one the leading teams in the country.  In 2011, G Team was the most decorated team at the USASA National Championships with the highest medal count of any snowboard team.  Aside from achievements on the snow, G Team is proud of the academic success our athletes have achieved over the years and the high college entrance and graduation rate is astounding.

The G Team provides the opportunity for motivated riders to train in freeriding, freestyle and alpine disciplines under the direction of experienced, professional coaches along with the opportunity to compete in local, regional, national, and world competitions.

The G Team provides snowboarders with a "structured team” experience in an alcohol, tobacco and drug free environment.  Riders must have basic snowboard skills to join.

Our program is committed to fulfilling the needs, expectations, dreams, and goals of ever team member. From start to finish, riders will be encouraged, supported, and directed in their efforts to achieve their goals, however simple or ambitious those goals may be.

The G Team understands that team members have interests, commitments, and responsibilities outside and beyond snowboarding. These are encouraged and supported wholeheartedly by the coaching staff.

Our coaches always seek to help each rider reach their fullest potential without detracting from enjoyment of the sport or safety of the athlete. They are aware that they share a considerable amount of time with each individual on the team. They fully understand that they are in a position to influence not only the technical achievements of their racers, but also their emotional development and well-being. As such, the coaches will fulfill their duties with honesty, sincerity, integrity, and responsibility.

Along with the support of the parents, the G Team coaches will work with the athletes to ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate, build self confidence and a healthy self-esteem, instill life-long enthusiasm for snowboarding, teach sportsmanship and snowboarding etiquette, encourage high academic achievement, and foster friendships that last a lifetime!
